As our Canada 150 project - the Palette and Pencil Guild of the Credit Valley Artisans decided to create 150 5x7" paintings of Canada.
Each participating artist created at least one painting of their view of what Canada means to them.
People beyond our group found out about it and wanted to participate too. So we broadened our scope and accepted creations from family, friends, and beyond.
The first viewing of the paintings was at the "Not-So-Empty-Bowls" fundraiser for the creation of the Lucy Maud Montgomery Literary Centre and Museum in Norval, Ontario. One Hundred and Fifty paintings and more have been created and submitted to date.

Currently - some of the paintings are displayed in the "Mayor's Showcase" at 1 Halton HIlls Drive.

The paintings will be displayed on this website and are up for bidding by contacting Canada150@creditvalleyartisans.ca with your bid.

Your details will not be published on the website - only your name and bid.
Ten paintings will be up for auction each week!

We want everyone to enjoy our paintings and add to them if possible. To donate a 5x7" painting or to receive further information - please contact info@creditvalleyartisans.ca.

Proceeds of the auctions will be donated to the fund for creation of the Lucy Maud Montgomery Literary Centre and Museum in Norval, Ontario.
